Tools to Promote Biodiversity

Wildlife Refuge

Upon leaving the hunting reserve, the 43 hectares of Mas Campassol became a Wildlife Refuge.
ย Over the years, we have developed initiatives to protect and promote biodiversity: we created and naturalized a pond that is now a closed ecosystem and home to countless aquatic insects and, above all, amphibians; we installed nest boxes for different types of birds; we built dry stone walls for reptiles; we created several watering holes for wildlife (saving them during periods of drought); we planted specific flora to benefit pollinators and feed small mammals; and much more, which we invite you to discover on our Wildlife Refuge Tour.

Natural Pools

Aquatic spaces that are home to aquatic insects and amphibians, creating complete ecosystems of biodiversity.

Nest Boxes

Shelters for tits, bats and other birds that help increase local populations.

Dry Stone Walls

Traditional constructions that provide an ideal habitat for reptiles and small mammals.

Flora for Pollinators

Planting specific species that favor bees, butterflies, and other essential pollinators.

ยฟWhat can I do to promote biodiversity?

We propose these tools, first to protect and then toย regenerate biodiversity:
